23rd-Jul-2006 08:25 pm - The cat
Sorry, it is going to be a bit graphic.

Yesterday at work my sister (who is also my coworker) came up to me and said that there was something wrong w/ the cat and we needed to go to the emergency vet. Thankfully, the skin that is covering where her left eye should be just got infected. The doctor did drain some of the gunk out (Pus and blood for the ew) but they had to take her back and flush it out *shudders at the though of a syringe near the eyes*. So now my sis (the actual owner of the cat) has to give her medicine Twice a day and put a hot compress on the sewn eye three times a day (the latter to keep it draining). Other than that, everything is okay w/ her.

Oh, and hearing a cat pant is a very weird thing.
27th-Jun-2006 07:05 pm - Another long break, eh?
Heh, I have been busy looking for a new job since I didn't get the job at the toy warehouse.

TDROWE has been treating us like shit. And the only thing they've bothered to fix is a couple of switches on pinball and they've fixed the monitor on Mocap, but didn't even bother to put it in focus. Kara says that they might be going out of business.

I am happy that I beat my first 38 (Eurobeat EX) and I finally beat Miracle Hyper. I finally got my Des-Reggae Normal score up to 92k. I might get my 13th 100k. The choices are Daydream Normal or Hyper or Twinkle Dance Normal.

25th-May-2006 11:38 pm - Wow, something important
There is a very high probability of there being a job change for me. I am going for an interview for a Full-time job at a Toy Warehouse for an online company. I will be the guy who puts your order together, not the stocker. This is going to be a huge change for me.

23rd-May-2006 12:37 pm - "Beat Master!" - Popn 6-9
I am starting to get REALLY good at popn. Yesterday I beat 2 37's: Special Ending 2 Hyper and Linus Hyper (Quiet! I know Linus's genre is Lounge Pop. But I've known it as Linus longer than Lounge Pop (thanks to IIDX) and Linus is easier to type). As well as having Love Love Sugar EX a strikable clear (and it's a 38).

I am really starting to get pissed at TD ROWE again. I heard from one of my managers Christy that we ARE reporting problems to TD ROWE but they're doing JackSHIT about it. And Monster Bash is in a VERY sorry shape right now. Only one of the Jets work, the Loop Switches are broken (not flaky but gone), the spinner bracket is screwed in loosely (to the point where you can trigger the Tomb Treasure bracket by just going through the spinner), and the motor is starting to get worn for the Frakenstein's Monster toy. And the likely hood of us getting SuperNOVA or PIU 0 is as likely as me passing Mei [a], Classic X EX, Summer ~Speedy Mix~, and Facination MAXX Heavy ES on my first try. So yes, I am dedicating the first Jack lyric ("Well FUCK YOU!") again to TD ROWE as I play Jack. And I am trying my hardest to get them to fix stuff.

I now have a Second Life account. Name's Max Dapto and I am a red dragon w/ 2 pistols, a Katana, a shotgun, shoulder pads w/ dragon style spikes, Red and Black cyber boots, and a robotic attachment on my left arm. Yes, I am a furry (if you didn't know that read my FIRST FUCKING ENTRY) and I don't give a shit about what you think about that. My rule is still in effect.

6th-May-2006 04:16 am - Smoke's coming from my nose.
Which means that I am really unhappy with someone at the moment. I am unhappy with TD Rowe. They finally replaced the fucking gun on Big Buck Hunter. It took them 2-3 months...To acquire a used one that might break within the next month. Also, DDR is OOO. They were fixing the screen and they decided to leave the fucking job! So now we're DDR-less, which also means that Resist won't have a good reason to visit (heard he hates PIU). I don't know if they cleaned or replaced the PIU disc, but it would be a fucking Miracle if they did do so. We'll find out later today.

Also, Miles, why aren't we speaking/hanging out anymore? Please, I would like to know.

I finally gave my fursona an Official name instead of using Master Dragon (my alias from DDRManaiX that used the first version of it). It is now Ryu Gunnery, based off of the capitalizations of the charactor it was supposed to be (a cyborg-dragon named RevenG). And it is starting gain an appearance.

Chapter 1 is finished for A New Place A New Life. At least 9 more to go until Season 1 is done.

I also got my claws on a RO USB control box for my metal pad. Meaning I will be pad testing the BNM songs (Theme of ButaPunch is SO a 9. You can suck that down SM, which estimated it at a 7.7).

UPDATE (5/7): TD Rowe came in yesterday to finish the job, long after Danny and Caleb (5/5) and Jamaal and Long (5/6 before lunch) came in to play. I am still unhappy with TD Rowe, however, due to the nice replacement gun said earlier and the state of our pinball machine when we got it a couple of weeks back.
26th-Apr-2006 05:55 am - Ohhh, this is bad!
Teh dragon has resorted to cheating. Oh noes!

Meh, I am getting an Action Replay MAX EVO edition next week. For these reasons: So I can easily transfer my scores from popn and IIDX to PNN and VJA; as well as to unlock popn 7 and 9 and DDR Extremes.

So Matsuri is coming up on Saturday, and I need to unlock 9 in time. Hah, like that's going to happen. I still need to beat 4 bosses and Warudoc and unlock the remaining 47% in Gambler De Z. At least I don't have to worry about rolling a 36 and stopping because I hit a popn machine, as I have unlocked all of the 10 and ee'mall songs. So, yay on that.

And in a little bit I'll be pad testing my songs again, as I am getting a better converter for my dance pads (EMSUSB2 is teh suck. The lag is horrible).

26th-Apr-2006 04:04 am - Review: Popnmusic Iroha (12
And thus another popn has been released in Japan, Iroha. This cutesy Japanese-themed game shouldn't be missed by the popn fans.

Graphically, it got overhauled (in popn standards). The life bar frame changes colors depending on if you're in the pass zone or not. Also, the indicators of what difficulties are available are easier to see than in 11.

Out of the new songs, hardly any of them suck. The person who did the dentist mouse song should be buried by pop-kuns. It uses the most unpleasent sample to listen to, the dentist's drill. And the singer's voice cracks too. The person who made Latin Enka from popn8 is back with Visual Enka (Tsuki.Kage.Bana). That one kicks all sorts of ass. Also, 7 IIDX artists are in this game: dj TAKA, RYU, The Brothers Hiro, Ucchies, Akira Yamaoka, NekoMata Master and Akira Shintai (Akira and Sana). Of course, the new Nekomata song is typical popn Nekomata fare. There is no "Truck Me" in Ryusei Rave (Akira Shintai's song). And there is V in a Taka song, but it is for Foundation of our Love. The licenses are pretty good, but seem to be lacking in number. And the ones with the EX charts are rediculously evil in EX.

There is a definate gameplay change, as there isn't a Normal mode. That got replaced by the Way too Easy unmodable Excite mode. Excite mode only has 14 songs in it, too. There is a new mode called Taisen mode, but there's no net battling, only against the CPU. Since you're forced into challenge mode to actually get the typical gameplay, expect to madatorely unlock CGs (unless if you use Expert or Ososume mode). Just like in 8 all returning songs that had an EX will have its EX unlocked already, instead of trying to get Extra Stage or finishing the unlock system to get the repeat EXs (why they decided to lock returning EXs in 9, 10, and 11 is beyond me, though it was a good idea for Heavy Rock and Fantasy as those recieved EXs in 11 (and Heavy Rock got a hyper, too)).

Unlock system's called Ninja Hero/Ninja Heroine, which fits the theme of the game. Basically after each game you come up to a horizantle line of Mahjong tiles in 7 flavors. For the most part you will see the following five: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Nothing. At 50% it changes to Shinobi Points and Nothing. At 99% (all seasons finished) it changes to Hell and Nothing. For the seasons it takes 1-2 games to unlock something. For Shinobi Points it takes at least 3 games to unlock and Hell takes at least 4. Granted of course if you don't hit Nothing. When you finish the Shinobi scroll Shinobian becomes Shinobianko and unlocks Ninja Heroine. When you finish the Hell scroll not only you unlock Hell 12 (say that 5 times, fast!) but all locked EX's unlock themselves too. And also you DON'T have to unlock mods or License song characters this time around, as they're preunlocked (again, why the hell they decided to do this in 9, 10, and 11 is beyond me, since they're DEFAULT SONGS). However, like in 9, 10, and 11, the License characters are separate from their corresponding character (like you won't see Dragonball Z Nyami as a recolor option for Nyami or Bubble Bath Girl Mimi as a recolor option for Mimi).

The ratings seem, off, sometimes. Like some 35's feel like 36's or 37's, while Athletic Meet Hyper feels more like a 33 than a 36. Meh. At least it isn't as bad as Disco Girls Hyper being rated a 26 when it feels more like a 29 or 30.

It's a 4.9 (close, but some rating gripes as well as replacing Normal with the oft ignored Excite is enough to make it not get a 5).

21st-Apr-2006 02:15 am - BNM: EXTRA STAGE!
Yes, the Extra Stage is done! Here's the info:

Title: Theme of ButaPunch
Artist: ButaPunch
Genre (for play in Popn): Oi Punk 0
BPM: XXX
Stops: 0
Difficulties (With arrow counts):
Light: 7 (368)
Standard: 9 (467)
Heavy: 10 (593)
NOTES: Ha ha! No breakies for you! Also, be prepared for sudden BPM changes... And Heavy has the least jumps!

I chose this song over Erasermotor MaXimum because the dynamics of the song. No, it doesn't mean that EM is gone from the list. After some Easy songs (like Please Teach Me), some more moderatly difficult songs (like Fantasy and The Place to Be), and Jack (yes, THAT Jack from Popn. It's a 10 on Heavy) I will be doing EM. EM will still be a 10...

ToBP is pretty difficult. I can almost FC Jack and can score decently against Orion's Yakan Hikou (like 85 million), and yet this song gives me fits. Then again there is some nasty scaling and that one part that will elicit some Fuck You's.

Okay, so I created a neighborhood for my story "A New Place, A New Life" called Crow Ridge. The first family wasn't based off of any of my story's main characters, but of some secondary characters. The "family" was 2 single moms, one had a single kid named Zee (girl) and the other had 2 kids: Dee (boy)and Oh (girl). Oh and Dee didn't get along. Dee got so depresed that the Poltergeist took sympathy and had the floor eat Dee (read I had Dee commit suicide by drowning using the Insimenator). Zee and Oh lived on with their mothers (Oh actually mourned for Dee). When they hit teenagers I decided to let free will run its course (while telling one of the 2 moms to cook). When I checked up on the girls they were kissing and had Crush levels in their relationship bars. And they never left eachother's side. Once they hit adults I had Oh successfully propose to Zee. Aging was promptly turned off (since the mothers were about to hit elder stage and I don't like to play with elders).

Now I am working on the main families: Fury (Ami and Usagi [NEW! She is Ami's friend after Ami finished her Kitsune training. She could be best explained as the Gentleness of Chiiko with some of Raye's fighting spirit]), Nyami (Ran and Chiiko), and Yajinbo (?, ?, and ?). With some roomies "families" for Casey, Cindy, Tracey, and Brinna (new character! She's a gothic Anime fan, who is confused as to how to react to the cutsey anime themes (she doesn't know to either gag or say "YAY!")

Oh, and I added a genre to ANPANL. I added Sci-Fi, due to Jaku using a cybernetic suit created by Mamoru. Mamoru is Sakura's adoptive father while Jaku is Mamoru's best friend 2 years after Mamoru adopts Sakura.

30th-Mar-2006 03:34 am - CASINO NIGHT!
Last night I attended my school's Casino Night. They had Texas Hold Em, Craps, Roulette, Let It Ride and BlackJack. Let It Ride was neglected to the point where the dealer went off for the rest of the night and assisted the Craps table. Biggest lowlight was me blowing my $100 stake on Roulette (though I got 10 $10 chips instead of 20 $5 chips). Biggest highlights were me not losing going all in at Hold Em (ended up losing $50 from my winnings because I called one hand (2 suited cards) and the Flop killed my chances at a flush and weren't liking my odds of getting anything other than shit. It wasn't a choice either for going all in with me thinking I had a good 2pair and the person bet more than my stack.) and a 10 game winning streak on blackjack. Out of my $1k bankroll I walked out w/ $1275. Sadly in funnymoney. I want to repeat this.
